Sean "Diddy" Combs is now scheduled to leave federal custody on Feb. 23, 2028, a date that has steadily moved closer during recent months. Bureau of Prisons records previously listed June 4, April 25, and April 15 of that year before the newest listing took effect.

Seven weeks have vanished from the previous estimate. Each adjustment has trimmed additional time from the music mogul's expected stay serving his term.

Fifty months at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey followed Combs' conviction on two counts involving transportation for prostitution. Reported by People, jurors rejected racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking allegations that carried far greater punishment.

Not guilty verdicts reshaped the outcome of the case. Decades in prison were possible had prosecutors secured convictions on the most serious accusations.

Reasons behind the newest movement on Combs' custody calendar have not been identified. Participation in a residential drug treatment program has frequently been cited as one possible factor behind earned credits.

Every revision has pushed Combs closer to the prison gate. June disappeared from the schedule first, followed by late April and then mid April, creating a shorter path to the date now displayed by listings.

Participation in treatment programming has drawn notice because similar initiatives can generate time credits. Eligibility, completion requirements, and individual evaluations all play a role in how those calculations are applied.

Designation at Fort Dix was sought because of treatment opportunities and easier access for loved ones. Relatives can make visits without the travel burdens associated with more distant correctional institutions.

Separate efforts to overturn or reduce the punishment remain active. Government lawyers continue defending the verdict that emerged from deliberations.

February 2028 is not locked in place. Bureau of Prisons records can move in either direction depending on developments that occur during confinement.

Additional entries have already disappeared from Combs' prison calendar since sentencing. Another adjustment could arrive before he reaches the date currently displayed in listings.
